Brook M. Thibault is an experienced lawyer and courtroom litigator.   He is joining Anchor Legal Group, PLLC as a Partner of the Domestic Relations Divisions

Brook owned and ran his own law practice for nearly a decade.  While running his practice, Brook primarily practiced in domestic relations, criminal defense, and general civil matters.  Through Brook’s representation of hundreds of clients, he has gained a deep appreciation for the legal system process and how a skilled advocate is essential to success.  Brook has refined and solidified his reputation as a tenacious courtroom litigator, fighting for the accused, the innocent, and the alleged guilty alike.

Prior to running his own practice, Brook was an Associate Counsel for the world’s third-largest container ship company.  Mr. Thibault shared in the corporate legal responsibilities, which included complex commercial real estate transactions, transportation and maritime law, as well as international asset searches and collections.

Brook has represented hundreds of criminally accused individuals in matters ranging from minor traffic infractions to serious violent crimes. Mr. Thibault is a firm believer in the U.S. Constitution and its protections against illegal searches and seizures. The government does not belong in your business, and the rights afforded to individuals must be protected!

Mr. Thibault was born in upstate New York and attended college at the University of Buffalo, where he majored in Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies. He then moved to Virginia Beach to attend Regent University School of Law.

Mr. Thibault is a member of the local Bar Associations and is an active member of the community. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, as well as playing hockey.  Since 2003, he has played in hockey leagues in Newport News, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach. He is also an annual participant in numerous motorcycle “poker runs” for various charities.
