Anthony M. Gantous
Equity Partner
Anthony M. Gantous began practicing law in Ohio in 2003 at a national defense law firm with offices throughout the country. Anthony moved to Virginia with his wife and daughters in 2009, and continued his career as a trial attorney, but switched his focus from defense work to primarily representing plaintiffs. After spending the first part of his career representing doctors, hospitals, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and other large businesses, Anthony has a unique understanding of how to prosecute cases against these entities. He has a deep understanding of how a defense attorney or insurance adjuster will approach and evaluate a claim because he used to work for the defense.
Since starting his practice in Virginia, Anthony has repeatedly been selected as a “Virginia Super Lawyer,” which is an award given to less than five percent of Virginia’s attorneys. He has also been selected by his peers as a member of Virginia’s Legal Elite, as published by Virginia Business Magazine; and he has been selected for membership into The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers.
As a partner with Anchor Legal Group, Anthony provides excellent service to his clients in the areas of medical malpractice, medical privacy, wrongful death, serious personal injury, maritime law and business litigation. Anthony also handles a select number of Federal criminal matters as a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Anthony prides himself on being accessible to his clients and providing a high level of personal service. He personally works on all his cases, and he intimately knows each client’s file. When he is not at work, you will usually find Anthony spending time with his wife, three daughters or other members of his close-knit community of family and friends.
